Tonight's Evening Prayer and talk by Fr. Michael Sergi, C.Ss.R. will begin at 6:00 P.M. tonight. Last week's bulletin stated the time to be 6:30 P.M. that is incorrect. We hope to see you tonight at 6:00 P.M.
This weekend, February 18/19 will be Commitment Weekend for the Annual Catholic Appeal. As you know, the Annual Catholic Appeal funds many important ministries in our diocese as well as our Parish benefits greatly from them. These range from the education of seminarians, Campus Ministry, Catholic Charities and the administrative offices of the diocese. Last year our goal was $14,451. With your generosity we raised $14,212 or 98.35% of goal. Thank you!! This year our goal is $15,323. Please join me in supporting our diocese with this appeal. If you are a registered parishioner, you should have already received a letter regarding this vital appeal. Additional pledge envelopes will be available in the pews for our visitors. God bless and have a great week! Fr. Luyen Dau, C.Ss.R.
Some of our Contribution Statements are incorrect. It was discovered that offerings for the Sundays of April 10th and December 18th, did not get posted to each individual account. As a result we had to reprint the statements of those who contributed on those dates. New statements for those affected will be available in the Narthex. We sincerely apologize for this error and hope it has not caused an inconvenience to any of you.
We are happy to let you know that all Masses will be celebrated this weekend. Fr. Stephen Schroeder will be celebrating the 4:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday afternoon. Friebel for helping us out during Fr. Dau's absence due to the death of his father. Let us keep Fr. Dau and his family in our prayers. Make sure to welcome Fr. Schroeder and Fr. Friebel to St. Mary Catholic Church.
We are saddened to inform you of the death of Fr. Luyen Dau's father, Mr. Tuu Dau, yesterday. Due to Fr. Dau's absence, we will be cancelling our weekday Masses and replacing them with a Communion Service until Fr. Dau's return which is unknown at this time. Holy Hour on Wednesday night is also cancelled. We are in the process of finding a priest for our weekend Masses. We will notify you if any change is made for these Masses. Please keep Fr. Dau, his mother and his family in your prayers.
It has been brought to our attention the Contribution Statements for ON-LINE donors are inaccurate. They are missing the January and February contributions. Revised statements are being done today, January 17th, and will be available in the Narthex by the end of the day. We apologize for this mix-up. Please note: This is for on-line donors only. The remainder of the statements should be accurate.
DON'T FORGET!! We will be having an Advent Penance Service tonight at 6:30 p.m. There will be additional priests here to assist with Confessions. We look forward to seeing you here.
Due to the inclement weather and school being cancelled, we will be having our evening of Christmas caroling and hot chocolate tomorrow night, Thursday, December 8th, following the Holy Day Mass at 6:30 pm instead of tonight as we had planned. We look forward to seeing you all here.
